Our Governor's Perverted Side (w/ Edits)

Today I am thankful for decorum. I am disgusted that governor lacks it*. He posted this stupid meme to Facebook. Over the past 35 years, I've spent a lot of time advocating for the LGBTQIA+ population. One of the hardest stereotypes to overcome is the thought that people in the LGBT community are perverts that want to influence our children to become sexually provocative and active at an early age. This bullshit doesn't help.  It sets the movement back. If the governor's husband posts it - it's cute. That Weird Feeling When All Your Wishes Seem to Come True (w/ edit)

Today I am confused yet thankful for some of the bizarre changes that have happened in the past three months.  I have a political wish list.  I figured that these are just thing that I'd never see happen in my lifetime. There was no way that I would ever believe that the Democrats would fulfill my list.  I would tell myself that, should the politicians do these things on their own, I would be able to focus my energy on counseling addicts rather than play politics.  Lo' and behold - here we are.... 1.  End the fight against the second amendment:  Up until now, the liberals have been painting guns as the enemy of the state.  They've eaten into our second amendment rights by claiming that the police are always going to be there to protect us.  Now, we are seeing the opposite.
